   ‘Last year I replaced a cracked head on my 1989 Hilux 2.8l diesel 4×4 ute. Even before the head went, with over 480,000km on the clock the motor had been losing power with poor compression in at least 2 of the cylinders.

   One treatment with Certech Gel direct into the cylinders as we rebuilt the engine improved performance considerably, with the motor running quieter and more smoothly. Another tube when we replaced the oil sometime later and the Hilux hasn’t looked back. I reckon its performance is up at least 15%, especially on the hills.’

   I use this every time I buy a used car and the performance enhancement is always really noticeable. Definitely a must in higher mileage engines. Just got another car and realised I had never left a review before.
